Over several decades explorers have prodded the Puhipuhi epithermal gold-silver target and a Canadian junior company is now taking it up from Australian gold miner Evolution Mining.

About a month ago anti-miners were crowing about the end of a drill programme by Evolution Mining at Puhipuhi meant the company was pulling out. Those claims by anti-miners are part of the exaggeration and alarmist mode they take, but it’s possible Evolution may now withdraw.
