Six new directors have been appointed to the board of Cue Energy Resources Ltd (ASX: CUE) following the control stake Ofer Global Group gained in Cue’s major shareholder New Zealand Oil & Gas Ltd (NZX: NZO).
Four of the six new directors are directors of NZ Oil & Gas (NZOG) and will not accept fees as Cue directors.
The four NZOG directors are its chairman Samuel Kellner, its managing director Andrew Jefferies, Alastair McGregor, chief executive of Ofer’s OG Oil & Gas Ltd, and Rod Ritchie.
The other two new directors are Peter Hood who has had senior management roles in the petroleum sector and on industry organisations; and Richard Malcolm who has had global management roles in the sector and currently is a director of Larus Energy.
Melanie Leydin has resigned as a director but will remain company secretary and chief financial officer.
Cue chairman Grant Worner said the new board members bring extensive skills and experience across the oil and gas sector.
