A strategic review adviser has been appointed by New Zealand Windfarms Ltd (NZX: NWF), owner of the Te Rere Hau wind farm in the central North Island.
The company said at its annual general meeting late last month it was going to undertake a strategic review after some major board changes and new measures that improved the company’s financial footing.
First NZ Capital Limited (FNZC) has been appointed to assist the board with the review.
NZ Windfarms said FNZC has had extensive experience in assisting and advising clients in the New Zealand energy sector.
The review will assess the company’s capital structure and evaluate the range of options available, including potential sale of the company or its assets.
